Water Heater Troubles
A malfunctioning water heater left the home without hot water, creating a significant inconvenience. We troubleshot the issue and successfully relit the water heater, restoring hot water without the need for a costly replacement. This efficient resolution ensured the customer's comfort and satisfaction.
Furnace Troubles
During our latest visit, we identified that the circuit board was shorting out, causing intermittent operation of the condenser. After diagnosing the issue, we replaced the faulty board, ensuring the heating system operates smoothly and efficiently without further interruptions.
AC Not Working
A blown 5 amp fuse was discovered, indicating a short that we traced to two wires. We made a temporary tape repair at the base of the house due to limited slack for a proper joint. The faulty mercury thermostat, which was off by 7 degrees, was replaced with a Pro 1 model. We also rinsed the condenser and provided a filter for the tenant, who will replace it. We recommend replacing the two-wire system in the near future, although it is operational for now.
Ac Not Working
Upon inspection, we found that the upstairs condenser breaker had tripped and was overheating. After resetting the breaker, we checked the compressor's amps, which remained steady at 10. Noticing the system was slightly low on refrigerant, we added 0.5 lbs of 410a to adjust the superheat and delta. We also replaced the tripped breaker with a 40 amp unit, ensuring the system was cooling effectively afterward.
HVAC Install
The air conditioning system was not performing efficiently, prompting us to assess the issue. We replaced both the coil and condenser, restoring optimal cooling performance for the residential property. This crucial upgrade ensures better energy efficiency and comfort for the homeowner.
Toilet Constantly Running
A constantly running toilet in the master bath was causing an inconvenience. We replaced the fill valve and 3” flapper to address the issue. After completing the repair, we confirmed there were no leaks between the floor and bowl or from the tank to bowl, ensuring the toilet was functioning properly.
Tankless Maintenance
We descaled three gas tankless water heaters in the Collierville area.
